The LifeTrain Trust

Disability services

Trip to LA Our main objective is to provide training opportunities together with life experiences in a variety of ways that aim to further awareness and lead to greater levels of equality, confidence and independence, thereby developing inclusion and equality of opportunity in the community.

The main platform which supports our training rests firmly on a Social model of Disability and the development of disability equality training.

We support existing Phab Clubs and youth and community groups that offer an inclusive provision. We also develop inclusive social opportunities for disabled people and organise residential experiences within the UK and overseas.

"The Lifetrain Trust Disability Services has a simple message. Everyone regardless of their differences should have the same basic rights as everyone else - to be part of the community, to develop their skills to the full and to be accepted as individuals. Disability Services is working to develop opportunities for individuals, groups and communities that enable young disabled people and adults to be included without the slightest surprise, debate or controversy".

If you require more information or would like this information in a different format please contact Sue Wilson on 01306 730929 or email at disability.services@lifetrain.org.uk

Training and support are the key factors, which the Disability Services Team firmly believe increases the quality of life for all, and promotes and encourages inclusive opportunities.
