Inclusive Practice
An Accredited Programme to assist organisations, schools, colleges, groups, companies and institutions to develop Inclusive Practice.
A 2 day certificate course accredited by the Awarding Body Consortium.
Aim - to inform and equip:
- people with line management responsibility
- educators in schools, colleges, universities
- development officers in organisations
- youth workers in clubs and groups who wish to promote inclusive practice and to meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act and Special Education Needs and Disability Act.
The learning is divided into 2 days of guided learning and a minimum of 5 hours of independent learning (the action plan).
Each participant is provided with a 'Workbook' which is completed and forms the portfolio for assessment purposes. This Learning Diary needs to contain all the items required to show evidence of the course members participation, learning and competence.
