Fieldwork services
Our staff are experienced and qualified youth workers. They visit affiliated clubs and projects whenever needed providing support and advice to youth workers both voluntary and paid.
The youth work staff offer activities to clubs to assist youth workers with their programme. These activities include arts and crafts, sports and quizzes.
When a new group or project is in the early days of establishment the youth work team spend a great deal of their time working with the volunteers and management committee working with the volunteers and management committee guiding them through the legal requirements and practicalities of running a youth club. The details of the things we can advise on are:-
- Insurance - personal accident and public liability
- CRB clearance for volunteers
- Reference and application forms for volunteers
- Membership forms
- Parental consent forms
- Planning a programme
- Art and craft activities and suppliers
- Health and Safety policies.
- Child protection policy
- Equal opportunities /accessibility issues
We can also deliver a basic course for volunteers which can be facilitated at your site at a time to suit and tailored to your specific needs.
