Q. Do you do self-catering?

A. We have dedicated catering staff and regret we cannot make the kitchen available to guests.

Q. Can you provide special menus?

A. We will agree the menu with the Group Leader some weeks before your visit. We will always provide a vegetarian alternative on the menus.

Q. Can you provide menus for those with wheat, dairy and nut allergies?

A. Yes, but not ‘fads and dislikes’. It is important that we are informed of all allergies well before the group’s arrival.

Q. Can you provide Halal meals?

A. Yes, if there are those within the group that require Halal food we can provide Halal to the whole group.

Q. Are the guest’s belongings covered by insurance?

A. Any damage caused to our guest’s belongings is covered by our Public Liability Insurance. Loss or theft is not covered. We have Public Liability cover of £5,000,000

Q. Do you cater for babies?

A. Guests may bring their babies at no extra charge. We will need to discuss any requirements for the baby.

Q. Is there a telephone available for Leaders or Guests?

A. There is a payphone for visitor’s use. Some mobile phones work in the village. Leaders may be given access to a telephone but will be charged for all calls made.

Q. What happens if we cause any damage to the centre?

A. Our booking conditions require that the group take responsibility for all damage caused during their stay. The group will be invoiced for the repair or replacement of all damage caused.

Q. Can we have the whole centre to ourselves?

A. Generally If your group is 30 people or over you will be allocated the whole centre. The bedroom accommodation is split into two areas, 31 beds and 14 beds. If you are a small group and have a particular need for the whole centre please contact us.

Q. How small a group can we bring?

A. We will take groups as small as 12 provided we already have a group booked into the centre.

Q. How many nights can we stay?

A. As many as you wish.

Q. Can we stay for one night only?

A. Yes, but only by special arrangement.

Q. Is there anything we need to bring?

A. As well as your normal changes of clothes, personal items and toiletries you must bring a towel.

Q. Do we need special clothing for the activities?

A. No, just comfortable clothes, waterproofs and trainers. However if you are booked to do the challenge course then you should bring old clothes as it is possible that you will get extremely muddy.

Q. Can you look after valuable items for us?

A. We regret that you must be responsible for your own property. Generally we only provide leaders with master keys to the accommodation block but they will be able to lock all bedrooms.

Q. Are there easily accessible off site activities?

A. Yes, We can advise on the wide range of activities available.

Q. Can the Centre help visitors put a programme together?

A. Yes, we have a wide experience of the needs of groups.

Q. Can the Group run its own activities?

A. Yes you can run your own programme. You may run the Centre’s activities provided that you have appropriately qualified staff and insurance cover.

Q. What happens if the weather is inclement on the day of an outdoor activity?

A. The activity can continue; it’s up to the Group leaders. However the trainer will abandon the activity if it is, considered unsafe.

Q. Can we have a camp fire?

A. Yes, there is a Fire Circle.

Q. Do you have risk assessments?

A. Yes, we have undertaken Risk assessments of the Centre and its Activities. These are updated annually and as necessary.

Q. Can we visit The Felbury Centre before our visit?

A. Yes, we would welcome a visit which we are sure will be helpful to both parties.
